Thursday 6 August 2026 is Jeans for Genes Day, the annual campaign supporting the Children's Medical Research Institute and its work into childhood genetic diseases. 1 in 20 Australian children is born with a birth defect or genetic condition such as cancer, cystic fibrosis or a life-threatening metabolic disorder, and the funds raised go directly towards finding treatments and cures.
Terrey Hills Family Surgery is proud to take part. As Jeans for Genes Day falls on a Thursday this year, our team will acknowledge this important cause throughout the week beginning Monday 10 August 2026, when all staff will swap their usual attire for jeans and collect donations at the practice throughout the week.
