At Terrey Hills Family Surgery, we provide pre-employment and occupational health assessments to assist employers and employees in determining whether an individual is medically able to perform the inherent requirements of a role. Assessments are conducted in accordance with the employer's requirements, relevant clinical guidelines and your informed consent.
Our GPs provide an independent medical assessment and, where requested, complete the appropriate medical documentation for the employer.

Pre-employment medical assessments are not covered by Medicare. Fees vary depending on the scope of the assessment required. Payment is required at the time of your appointment unless your employer has made prior arrangements with the practice. Please contact our reception team for a quote.

Professional, Independent Assessments
Each assessment is tailored to the inherent requirements of the position and the information requested by the employer. Where additional investigations or specialist review are required, your GP will discuss the appropriate next steps with you. Following your assessment, the requested medical report will be completed and provided in accordance with your consent and applicable privacy requirements.
