Assessment and Management of Work-Related Injuries
If you have sustained a work-related injury or illness, your GP can provide assessment, treatment and ongoing management as part of your recovery.
Our GPs assess work-related injuries, develop management plans, monitor your progress and complete the medical documentation required under the workers' compensation scheme. Your GP can act as your Nominated Treating Doctor under the NSW workers' compensation scheme and may, with your consent, liaise with your employer, insurer and other treating health professionals to support your care and facilitate a safe and appropriate return to work.
Where further investigation or treatment is clinically indicated, referrals can be arranged for imaging, allied health services or specialist care.

Fees & Billing
Once your workers' compensation claim has been accepted, consultations are billed directly to the insurer at no cost to you. If your claim has not yet been accepted, or has been declined, payment is required at the time of your consultation. You may be able to seek reimbursement from the insurer if your claim is subsequently accepted. Please speak with our reception team if you are unsure of your claim status.
