Dr Sofia Ambreen holds a Diploma in skin cancer from Australasian college of skin cancer and provides skin cancer assessments using clinical examination and dermoscopy where appropriate.
If a skin lesion requires further investigation, your GP will discuss the available management options. Depending on your clinical needs, this may include monitoring, biopsy, skin cancer excision or referral to an appropriate specialist. Where a procedure is recommended, our team can assist you in arranging a suitable appointment.

On the day, please avoid wearing makeup or nail polish, and wear clothing that is easy to remove. Fees for procedures such as biopsies and excisions vary — our reception team can advise you of any costs when booking.
